She'd be nowhere if she didn't have (1) a platform for the past 10 years (2) abundant financing (3) family (4) appearance.

It's definitely frustrating to see someone so successful as a result of extraordinary circumstance and with a product that's value is derived from it's perception rather than technological innovation.

I know this is a valid business strategy, but I don't think it was consciously developed that way, at least initially, it seems like she just sorta walked into this thing and it took off.

I don't think she struggled a lot to achieve this, I guess that is why it is frustrating. I feel like her main advantage was her platform, which she was really born into rather than anything else.
