In the linked article, Doris Lessing recounts an anecdote where a teacher said something offensive about men. That teacher was clearly wrong. It also does not demonstrate that "schools trying to teach boys their gender is the cause of all the world's ills." I am aware of no curriculum in the US or the UK where it's ok to teach that men are inherently violent. Hence, I said "no it's not." It's not a widespread problem, as far as I can tell. We all agree the idea that men can be harmed by our society isn't a fringe position. But the idea that men need to separate from women, and replace them with sex bots or genetic engineering...that's absolutely fringe incel stuff. That's what the above commenter is touching on. I'm sure you would agree we should not encourage this. |
