IMO it was also a naming problem. GamerGate doesn't refer to anything precisely, it just encompass the whole mess. The ones who had interesting claims should have forked the movement under an unambigous name. It was impossible to be fully pro or anti gamergate because both sides had so many claims and their fair share of trolls. |
