On the totem pole of tech nous, I am very close to the bottom. So can someone explain to me "remote browsing" is not a thing? Login to your VPS (or whatever), start and encrypted X session, and browse away. That is very unusual traffic, of course, and others connecting from my inet-facing IP probably make it even more so: Steam after school, missus hitting the foreign news sites in the AM, the traffic peaks and troughs at certain times of day... we're fucked. |
