Most of professional therapists are highly empathic, they are not like the average person. You will never be dissapointed, even if you feel you need another therapist, the experience is worth.

Don't overthink too much, a therapist is not a friend, your problem is not strange for them, they deal all the time with people suffering the same problems you are experiencing.

I'd like to add, it's okay to consider them "a friend" as long as you keep the context in mind. They're there to help you, so you can rely on them and trust them. You literally can't disappoint them though, that's their job. Although they aren't the kind of "friend" you'd hangout with, etc.
