The post still made contextual sense when read literally. It just wasn't technically accurate. Hence why it was so easy to misinterpret. Plus the next time you make sweeping generalisations about the reading comprehension abilities of HN it is probably worth remembering that this is an international community and thus English isn't going to be everyone's first language. |
