In China, much more systems are deployed in hospitals, including desktop based and web apps. Some web apps are still only designed for IE. Chinese doctors are working on shift and it is not happy to jump between dozens of apps, that is the reason we developed tydesk, https://github.com/tydesk/tydesk, which is basically a home page for all of the other apps, also includes some fancy features for IT automation, message integration, single sign on.
