I would think it's humor in the form of speculative fiction. The humor would be pointing at the fact that you can install Linux on mostly anything.
Never forget that you can install it on a Commodore 64. I think that's why the author made it.
Maybe some sort of ironic pat on the back for the Linux OS because it is so flexible and portable? |
