+1 A rescinded job offer is a big deal, particularly given the guy's immigration status. I assume this was discussed and that he'd need to transfer his H1B. The company by then would've known he had handed in his notice and any HR person should know this potentially triggers immigration issues. Name them and shame them I say. Like you say, this may indicate the company is in trouble financially so any existing employees and potential applicants should be aware of this. |
