Sorry, I should have been more clear. Hundreds of millions included spending in categories not directly allocated to homeless services but impact line items in other budget categories related to homeless services like housing, public health, legal representation, etc. Somewhat misleading, but so is saying that the city only spends what is directly allocated for the homeless services line item to maintain the status quo that isn’t working. https://www.seattle.gov/city-budget/2018-proposed-budget |
