I'm not sure species identification is the issue here. It doesn't matter if 100 species are at risk or 100,000, I think most people still aren't too concerned about the environment. Maybe for anything to get done there has to be some immediate economic benefit to the person doing the preservation. But at this point I'm not sure what that would be, or who would fund it. |
