I run a data / analytics company / super early stage startup in a large industry dominated by three players I cold emailed and managed to score a meeting with the ceo of one of these three giants to discuss a product partnership - essentially selling my service to this giant. It’s a huge company - market cap over 10 Billion dollars - and frankly I’m surprised the ceo agreed to meet me. In the meeting he has asked his two product heads to join. I am a sole founder and this is making me a bit nervous. I’m afraid that if the ceo sees I’m a one man show he’ll lose interest (I do have a team but they are all remote). So I’m thinking maybe I should take along a fake employee with me. my girlfriend. My girlfriend is really smart and her experience is actually very relevant to my product. Is it ok to take her along? I really don’t want to lose this opportunity and I fear that by going in solo I may just do that I’d value your feedback |
