People aren't rational agents. They suck at making decisions about their long term well being But, are legally adults, and that’s what that means. These arguments about students not knowing what they’re doing has only one solution: raise the age of legal adulthood to 25. Which is not as unreasonable as it sounds; it was 30 in Ancient Greece. |
