Hiring a full time staff to do this? Yeah, that happens at big, rich companies. It doesn't happen at actual startups. Instead the founder or the office admin does it on top of everything else they're supposed to be doing. Also, anecdotally, adding those things didn't affect my turnover at all. What did affect my turnover? Having (or not having) interesting projects for people to work on. |
