I don’t use Facebook, but I have enough of an account to see what they have on me, and occasionally login to lock it down / delete crap.

The last time I logged in, I found that the following have uploaded information about me to Facebook’s ad targeter:

* my car’s manufacturer

* charities I donated to

* political campaigns (red and blue)

* some of my banks

* random pop music groups I have never heard of (thanks, spotify(?))

* my preferred pizza delivery company

and at least three dozen others.

As far as I can tell, this behavior will soon be illegal in Europe.
