I joined the USDS 2 years ago and the first team I joined was at the Department of Veterans Affairs and we worked on digitizing the 1010EZ form. This form is how veterans apply for health care benefits and we were able to successfully launch this form and use this project as an example. We continue to work on how veterans interacted with the VA digitally. Since it was launched there have been over 340,000+ submissions this is the most rewarding thing I have worked on in my career.
