It’s unlikely that vendors will ever support multiple JIT engines, so wasm is likely to be AOT only for the foreseeable future: you likely won’t see other languages inside script tags. And secondly, it’s going to be a long time before the entirety of the Web API (which is much bigger than just the DOM) is supported in wasm, if ever. |
