This is perhaps a stupid question. But, even if we had a real oblivious DNS, can't the ISP figure out what website I am connecting to by a reverse-dns lookup on the IP-address ?

Yes unless the websites are using a CDN with shared IP addresses. I wonder what % of the web that covers nowadays.
