Googling. I used to write a lot of things from scratch, unnecessarily. Whenever I find myself working at a level of abstraction much lower than the problem I'm trying to solve, I start googling. This has led me to django, grid 960 (css), jquery ui, etc. These days, writing a new app usually means seeing how far I can get with Drupal modules first. |
