“vPro” in this context is probably Intel AMT (Intel uses the “vPro” branding to cover several unrelated technologies)... but Intel’s used virtualization capabilities (specifically VT-d and VT-x) as a point of product line segmentation before, so its not that far-fetched that they might omit something, especially if they’re concerned about cannibalizing server-class processor sales.
