Not at all, and I assume they will be hiding as much as they can to avoid as many problems as they can, but that's not my point. If you have a problem with something, you don't keep playing with it when you know it's going to fail. My Philips TV turns on by itself at night. Instead of waking up at 3am to shut it down I power it down hard before going to bed instead of putting it on standby. The same way, if you know you have a problem with something that can kill you in some road you just don't keep using it "in case it does it right this time"... ...and in any case if you dont trust the system, you dont keep your hands off the steering wheel... (unless the guy had a heart attack or something just before the accident and that was why he didn't do anything, we're all assuming he was capable of driving but he might have lost conciussness or something , then autopilot disengaged, then the crash happened, but I don't know, and everything we can do is speculate...
