That covers only part of the scandal, which IMHO has at least two parts: 1) Facebook data was widely shared to all kinds of 3rd parties. 2) Facebook data can be used to manipulate individuals and inappropriately influence the political process. Even if Facebook fixes #1, #2 is still a problem (either by Facebook itself, or those using its platform). |
