It will cause all your tabs to run in one process, so only one CPU core can do work there. This will especially be noticeable when multiple tabs are actively doing something, for example if you open up multiple tabs at once or background tracking script are stealing your CPU cycles. Blocking tracking scripts and ads or just JavaScript in general can alleviate this to the point where you won't really notice. |
