In the case of the light bulb, it depends if Wifi SSID & Password count as "user information". I don't see any details concerning the other device tested here. I'm interested in what's exactly specified as "user information". Wikipedia[0] says that it's "any information relating to an individual, whether it relates to his or her private, professional or public life. It can be anything from a name, a home address, a photo, an email address, bank details, posts on social networking websites, medical information, or a computer’s IP address."
