I'll admit my initial reaction to these sort of requests can be pretty negative, I did find this letter well written and wouldn't have a problem with it if I received it. That being said, depending on the type of company and the number of candidates they are dealing with, I wouldn't be surprised if they simply ignore your letter rather than trying to deal with it. If you have 60+ more or less qualified applicants for a single job opening your first job is to get that down to less than 10 as quickly as possible and throwing out anything that doesn't fit into your template is a quick and popular first step. |
