Are you sure you know the target market you're speaking of? They're not coming from Android world, so they're probably used to exactly the kind of services these phones support.

No, not really. I'm just thinking about my mom--she doesn't know anything about phones or technology, but she'll ask right away if Whatsapp works.

Also, in my original comment I was speaking more in general rather than about KaiOS alone.
