You may be right here. I like to think I am not a complete idiot, but I just read their 'about' page and now I know Nix has a folder naming convention and something about functional programming, but I have no idea how it is going to solve the issues I have with pip/apt/conda etc. In fact I am not really sure if it is supposed to, apart from seeing that it is a package manager. Now I have filed it mentally under 'too much trouble to learn' |
