That's odd, when I learned about it a long time ago I was told it was intended to measure "inherent" intelligence, not the level of exposure/memorization of a massive set of (likely trivial) data points. Vocabulary very clearly belongs on an achievement test, not an aptitude test (as I imagined IQ to be). |
