SRS is excellent for memorising texts but better as part of a solution than as the solution. What you _need_ is a recording of you reading the text so you can listen to it repeatedly and repeat it after the recording as fast as you can. If you do that enough times and pause to try and say it before and after the recording you’ll get there eventually. What SRS does is makes it easier to chunk the text so you remember sub units. Take the entire text and make each paragraph or page a card and make many, many clozes (fill in the blank) for phrases, sentences or words. This will work as a complete solution all by itself but not as fast as doing it and attempting to recite your chosen text. |
