The last two paragraphs is where it gets sleazy. They're saying you'll "help support the evolution and growth of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies" (a.k.a. paying Salon from your electricity bill), but then allude to the fact that this technology COULD, theoretically, maybe, be used for all sorts of good stuff. Never mind that what it's actually going to be used for is, again, paying Salon. I approve of their transparency, and I don't have a rational complaint against the method of revenue generation at the moment, but the last part there is an attempt to put lipstick on the pig |
