Start spending time in the US. It's not clear whether you desire to stay in Germany while working remotely or whether you want to work onsite in the US. Disregard the rest of this if you desire the remote option. Some companies will be far more likely to sponsor you if you're able to interview in person. Given that tourist visas require you to state on the record that you're not here to work (or perhaps even seek work) that might become complicated. Consider using Canada as a go-between, as they have less bureaucratic red tape, and establishing residency while German is easier. |
