Your problem must have been that you had no money.
It's no problem hiring hackers in NYC if you can pay what all the heavy hitters are paying. And by heavy hitters I mean the other funded startups, not wall street. Nobody in NYC is going to work here for 65K and options like they do in SF. You can make more money teaching public high school. |
