You don't get to make a "bad apples" argument against unions. It's 100% of the point of unionization that all workers in an industry are bound by its decisions with no recourse. If you find your industry's union to be piss poor, you can suck it up or find a different line of work. That would be much worse than the current situation for software engineers, where if you find your boss's decisions to be piss poor, you can go get a better offer down the street. |
