It seems that the Pro is designed to appeal only to the faithful and have a very limited lifespan.

Putting everything in an integrated system with limited to no expansion possibilities rules out a lot of potential users (anyone with common sense) and means that if one component fails or becomes obsolete the whole thing is useless. It means none of those things and it is totally baffling to me that you refuse to accept that other people may have different views on these systems' utility to them and that they aren't idiots without "common sense" for that.
