He's right, but I don't like that he's the person saying this. Our society has a serious problem with giving too much weight to the opinions of rich people and celebrities. Soros is not an expert on anything except investing. No one should care about what he thinks. I hate the fact that George Soros saying this is news but all the real experts are largely ignored by the press.

I see the same thing with pretty much everything Elon Musk says. He's very rich, so whenever he makes some asinine comment about transportation or AI or tunnel boring every news agency is all over it.
