Having a 'choice' of GUI toolkits is going to lead to a shitty experience for everyone. As a user, now I have to see if a particular app works with my chosen toolkit, or if I have to deal with a substandard experience, or something that prevents me from using it properly. As a developer, now I have to decide which one I take, or spend twice as long and have twice as many bugs to use both. |
