I haven't seen any reports about it specifically, but anecdotally SQL Server 2008 R2 runs well on Wine 2.0 and later when you install .NET 3.5 into Wine, and Visual Studio 2010 Express works pretty good with the same caveats, so I think the SSMS from around that time should work okay with more modern Wine releases. Give it a shot and provide feedback, if no one tries it then it'll never get the support or workarounds it might need! |
