To me, it doesn't sound naive enough! Sounds selfish.. Isn't knowing you are doing good for people enough? Isn't that something coming back to you? I've noticed a similar thing in people who say they believe "what goes around, comes around" as a reason for being a good person, without noticing that, well, it isn't really ethical behaviour then, it's an indirect way of being selfish. Christianity is infected with a similar thing re getting to heaven.

edit: ohh, also I guess I assumed you are new on here (like me), I see you are very far from that.
