Briefly, why is an alternative not to have the administrator sign the membership list and then let the server pass it around? I realize that this will means you won't be able to directly join via an URL, but you could either do that by having different types of group or having the admin have to verify each member after they apply to join via URL. I feel like the article could have mentioned Telegram though, and I don't see why it couldn't have been mentioned in the paper too. |
