I actually agree with the person commenting the original article: > The "security updates" situation reminds me of organized crime's protection racket: Either pay us to "protect" you or bad things will happen. In the case of automatic "security" updates -- and not just Microsoft's -- we're compelled to pay in computers and programs that are corrupted with unwanted new behaviors. If you don't accept those, well then your computer will be insecure. So "pay up" or else. |
