It is sad for the author, but not because he will join that list - he is not. He is going to join the much less famous list of people who attempted to prove a very difficult problem, did so in a professional way, and while they ultimately failed they did advance science. And whomever leaked that is going to end up on the shitlist of an entire community of researchers. |
