I think the difference is that these problems are magnified in the press but are still rather rare. It is first hand experience that breaks the pavlovian cycle. Americans started buying Japanese cars because so many of them had direct poor experiences with American quality in the 70's to 90's. I don't think that has necessarily happened with Samsung, yet. |
