If you want tiny gnu editor, just use nano. They fixed the file corruption bug right?

There is also GNU zile and zemacs[0].

If you want actually tiny gnu editor, use ed.

I use it fairly regularly and the lack of any distracting UI is a fresh breeze compared to the overloaded editors out there.

I wouldn't know if nano fixed a file corruption bug or not. I use emacs.
