Wether it was the right thing or not depends on the details. The overall decision is a sane one, but FF now has to develop enough of a flexibility to have a good extension ecosystem again. At least now they can get that flexibility with sandboxing and access management. Anyway, Mozilla's history is such that I am not convinced they will do this. |
