Throwing money into a hole is pretty much how the BMI/ASCAP music scheme works for artists who aren't part of their protection racket. Patreon is worse at this point because they have already demonstrated they will seize and/or not distribute funds to accounts they dislike. That's one step above Paypal levels of horrible business practices. |
