And then there are many Go users, who don't really care for generics, or like me, think generics could be nice, but could also make the language more complex than desirable. If someone came up with a practical, clean, working proposal for Go - then absolutely. But so far I've only seen complaints and proposals where the conclusion starts with "this proposal will not be adopted" - mostly because it's somehow flawed. |
