I’ll no doubt be downvoted for this opinion...

But forget Trump: he is a colossal mistake and I think if anything proves my point further.

I really have an issue when science is “voted by majority” like the “97% of scientists agree that man made climate change is real”.

And “deniers” are shouted down.

Hasn’t history shown us from Copernicus onward that proof is proof and until then we engage in healthy debate and don’t demonise the minority?

This lack of debate and shout down MAKES me suspicious and skeptical.

Since when is science a vote? A majority rules? It’s always based on proof.

Until then I say of course we say it looks likely / evidence points towards man made climate change...but add in a healthy dose of “what else could it be?” Climate changes: let’s work on a scientific proof free from politics and emotion

Because otherwise we let morons like trump hijack this subtle point by saying: pfft, it’s bull. Let’s make more money and keep the status quo re: emissions.

Which then acts as a catalyst to undermine the act of physical reasoning which is to work towards an unequivocally proven model of the way nature works.

Just like Copernicus: he offered proof. Let’s work towards the same and advance climate science and our understanding of the Universe instead of voting in the IPCC...
