I think the prior comment references 'leadership' as a status ("Apple is the Leader in Design"), not a person or position ("Jony Ive leads the design team").

Maybe that’s not ideal?

Apples whole design ethos currently seems to be to make everything thinner.

I feel as though, for example, a slightly thicker laptop with more ports could be designed well, but maybe they’re not capable?
