It's not a work commitment. You're not working for your employer when you're commuting (unless you commute by train/bus and choose to do so). It's like a side gig where your compensation is you don't get bent over for rent, get the freedom that comes with owning a home and no longer have to put up with the downsides of living in an apartment. |
