I was one of the people who went ape over uac. It wasn't that uac showed up too much. It is that the devices were not capable of it. I think I've been vindicated by the subsequent lawsuit which revealed the vista capable vs vista ready fiasco. I mean literally the screen would go blank and there'd be no indication for up to about three minutes when a uac came on an hp Compaq laptop... Think about it this way. I've never seen anyone complain about full disk encryption on an iPhone 6 or later. Do the same on a Windows machine with 5400 rpm spinning rust... |
